Couponing with Kate....

Jack and I ventured out this afternoon for a little King Soopers coupon shopping.  They are having a "Mega Event Sale".... and if you know me, you know I am a sucker for a "mega event."  With that said....here is what I purchased.

10- brown and serve Turkey sausage (this may seem like a lot, but my boys LOVE their sausage!)
5- 32oz. Gatorade
3-Hefty ziplock gallon size bags..(I am planning of freezing LOTS of meat this week for meal prep)
2- Eggo waffles (a staple in the Wadlington house)
3- Danimal Smoothies
1- coffemate creamer
3- Land O Lake butters
1- package Pampers easy ups
***As I was walking out of Kings, I noticed a clearance rack with the pull-ups...They were marked half off from $9.77 down to $4.89!  I FRANTICALLY ran to my van because i KNEW I had a $2 off coupon...Low and behold, shoved in my console was the coupon....it brought the diapers down to $2.89!

Monday Funday....

As you can see, I figured out how to put some pictures on (although these were already on my computer).  So, Hopefully as I venture out to do a little "couponing", I will be able to post a picture and breakdown of the deals.  I am heading out to do a little KING SOOPERS MEGA EVENT shopping.....be prepared for some awesomeness!  Also, walgreens is having some SMOK'N HOT DEALS this week as well.  Unfortunately, I have already been to two walgreens today and ALL the items I needed were out of stock.  The manager assured me that the truck will arrive tomorrow...so be on the look out for my Walgreens post tomorrow!

On a side note, I began "THE 17 DAY DIET" today and am ready to eat one of my limbs.  My Thin Mints are just whispering to me to come eat them....sigh....guess I will be good...IT IS ONLY DAY ONE!

Giving this blogging thing a try........

For all of you that know me, the fact that I am even attempting something that involves me using a computer should be somewhat comical!  But alas, the day has come that I will be a "blogger".....that's right, Kate Wadlington, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Friend, Domestic Goddess.....BLOGGER (my little brother John who is a computer whiz will be so proud).  I am hoping to provide you with a little glimpse in to the world of me.  

I hope to provide you with some **HOT** deals that come my way, share my coupon trips and tips, show you some easy, quick, affordable meals, and of course post some pics of my adorable children (once i figure out how to upload pictures..and I am not joking!)
